I love a good picnic! The picnic basket in these pictures has witnessed many-a-picnics in its lifetime and it's still going strong. At this particular photo shoot, the basket was actually in use, it was not just a prop. On Mother's Day my family and I drove out to visit my sister in Grand Rapids and we thought we would avoid the crowds and long waits of a restaurant in downtown GR. Plus a picnic lunch is more fun anyway!
On a different note, many thanks to Grace of A Southern Drawl for awarding me the Sunshine Award. So sweet of her!

No, unfortunately I don't know Lauren Conrad personally. She ran a blogger contest on her site a few months ago and I was a finalist so I was gifted clothing from her LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's line to wear and style on my blog. Oh, I LOVE a picnic! And I love my picnic basket, even though it's REALLY HEAVY. Which I figure is ok - I get a work out before I plop down on a blanket and consume... :)
